Within the Fusion Applications Mobile Apps Development Team you will have the opportunity to build mobile applications that support and integrate with Fusion applications. These mobile applications will contain the latest technologies to provide the highest standard of UI design, graphical innovation and a solid robust user experience.


We are on a mission to deliver the next-generation of mobile applications for the Fusion suite of business applications. As one of the early members on the mobile team, you will help to define the product, establish the foundation for future development, own key areas of the product, and help build the rest of the team.

Brief Description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

Detailed Description

As a member of the software engineering division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Create new architecture for a moderate size product or a portion of a major product. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Job Requirements

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

We are looking for senior developers, who have 5-10+ years of experience developing mobile applications, preferably iPad or tablet-based applications. The candidate shall have:


Required
. BS in computer science or equivalent, with a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, client-server systems, and object-oriented software design
. Excellent eye for graphical design and understanding of user experience
. Incredible coding skills and minimum 3+ years programming experience in C and Objective-C, and 3+ years hands-on professional experience developing mobile apps on iPhone and/or iPad
. Passionate about building great user experiences with extensive experience in iOS or Mac OS X UI development, creating custom UI components and working with Cocoa Touch, and leveraging Mobile UI best practices
. Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
. Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new tasks
. Excellent command of written and spoken English
. In-depth understanding of Apple's iOS platform, with a minimum of 3 years of development experience, having made significant development contributions to applications published on the Apple App Store
. Deep understanding of the MVC pattern and other common design patterns, including REST-based application architecture
. Excellent understanding of CSS3 selectors and properties
. Browser compatibility best practices
. HTML (HTML5) and Document Object Model (DOM)
. JavaScript / jQuery
. Photoshop / Illustrator
. Ability to create designs from scratch, not based off a mock up
. Experience designing APIs and developing cross platform SDKs
. XML parsing, schemas
. Experience with SOA and web services, including in-depth knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, XML-based protocols
. Knowledge of Oracle database and SQL
. Experience developing mobile apps on Android
. 10+ years programming experience in Java
. Experience with agile software development
